We acted as advisors, performed a commercial and financial due diligence, conducted and compiled a valuation, negotiated the deal on behalf of the client. We also structured the deal, invited an investor to take up a 15% stake in the franchise worth R25.5m, registered a new company as an investment vehicle and applied and received acquisition loans from two lenders for R50m.\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n         We were contracted by one of the Big 4 audit firms to evaluate the operations of the packaging division of a multinational company. We made recommendations for the improvement of operations as well as changes to the systems of internal control. We also uncovered significant inventory losses and recommended preventative measures.\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n         Our team redesigned and implemented new financial and procurement processes and policies at a State-owned entity,\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n         We updated the risk management plans and registers and monitored its implementation, compiled the annual operational and capital budgets for the ensuing financial years at SOE&#8217;s,\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n         As interim CFO of a SOE, we compiled the annual financial report and integrated report that were approved by the audit committee and the Board, prepared the SOE for the yearend audit, corrected and implemented prior year audit findings and recommendations, assisted the internal auditors to compile a 3-year audit plan. The SOE ultimately achieved a clean audit outcome for that year,\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n         We compiled the annual financial statements of a listed company in order to be audited and published,\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n         We acted as interim CFO\u2019s for many companies and SOE&#8217;s. We were responsible for the prudent, effective and efficient management of finances and resources, provided data-driven and relevant information to enable the companies and organisations to achieve their business strategies and objectives, raised funding for expansions.
